It's not a contradiction or similar if you look at it: I said I dislike and don't want people slinging targeted/directed insults at individual users/people, and that jokes about no one in particular aren't so bad/sometimes even cathartic(correct term?) and helpful to heal the divide between peoples.

As for the other bit: Yeah, it is sad to see some complain about outrage culture by being a part of outrage culture(I get the irony in me saying that btw). I mean, dropping buying a game for a few sprites(even if it's the principle of the matter) is a bit rash/overboard to me, personally.

I don't support everyone unconditionally, but amok has a point in that this isn't such a big deal to drop a dev entirely over or not want to buy a game over.

Also they didn't put any 'cancer' in the game....they removed two sprites(one which you cannot even see without noclipping) to appease some crybabies and to keep them quiet. They didn't add any political/etc messaging in like some games do or will do. To me this is just them playing ball to get others to not rock the boat.

(And we can add those sprites back in with mods later on most likely)

To be fair you only own the currently uploaded version(on the main servers) and whatever older versions you DLd prior to that. Otherwise if you don't(or can't) DL your stuff promptly you have to take whatever version you're given by the server. :|

This.....though to be fair I think a civil discussion(or close to it) in the game's subforum(of one isn't there yet) would be nice. That way game talk can be had here and mostly at that subforum and also some can talk about the issue as well.

Plus we need a place to talk about it civilly as steam forums have locked most threads about it and they don't talk civilly for the most part anyways....and the discords have started blocking anyone who even tries to mention it.

Happens sometimes when you take too long to actually post the post. It seems like the session for the reply expires roughly after 30 minutes or when you suddenly change network a few times.
