Ion Fury is now available DRM-free.

While Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo DC, she knows it’s time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.

Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There’s no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: If there was a way to send money only to him and not to 3D realms and the criminal org they decided to make donations to, i would have done so, already.
^THIS! Devs from voidpoint made a great game and now the money it gained are used by regressive activists (and 3DRealm that kneeled to them) to help pushing agenda. That angers me more than any kind of censorship.

Also forgot to ask, has anyone else here from Europe ordered the Big Box version of the game?

It is already a week after release and I still haven't got it... Just to see if I should start doing something about it or if this wait is normal.

I to also ordered the big box, they haven't even completed packing yet. On the live stream last week they said it would ship between the last week of Aug / 1st week of September, so expect ait in about 3 weeks id say.

Thank you very much :).
It looks as though the offline installers are still for version 1.0, so nothing has been changed, correct? I'm currently finishing up a replay of Shadow Warrior (1997) and want to get to this next. I had almost forgotten how much I LOVE Build games. :D

Correct the patch has not gone live.

Also if you don't want to keep installers for 1.0 around you can get it running under EDuke32 (with a few minor issues) then just backup that folder.

Can the GOG crew take care of all the right-wing review bombing the game has fallen victim to?

I don't think it's worth having a great game tarnished because a bunch of snowflakes are upset that the game's having a rogue developer's bullshit removed in a future patch.

They aren't done by the alt-right, there aren't enough alt-right folks to deliver all those bad reviews.

It's also not a rogue developer, that's simply a normal old developer with a normal old joke; and the removal of his completely normal just fine content is censorship, and capitulating to evil, racist, sexist, violent ideologues.

If you don't like the direction things are going:

1. Stop making Goebels proud. Playing with words and reversing narrative, as well as shifting the blame for the entire sh!tshow that the game is under right now (and *you* are responsible for), makes you seem like dumb instead of bright, before readers. Plus, this technique is so last century, dude (and supposedly originates from your sworn enemies).

2. Go buy the game, fraud! Now that those cowards rushed in to fanservice your ilk, by securing your precious safe space (cause you were seeing things and getting triggered), that is the least you can do to thank them and show your appreciation in retrospect, to put things into perspective.

3. Just write your own review. Last time i checked, nobody prevents you from doing so. You funny guys are the only ones, who actually demand silencing different opinions. Go check your privilige, papa Joseph!

4. Some people like bullsh!t. But your kind has to be the only ones, who enjoy bullsh!tting others! Try bullsh!tting yourselves, for a change; oh, wait!

5. Don't forget to buy Wrath, as well! Lot's of people now, blacklisted 3D Realms. The colossus that gave us Lo Wang, Duke, Blood, is now dead, or rather, braindead, all thanks to your cancerous, infectious disease.

"And don't let the slamming door hit your behinds on your way out"; as my best friend here says.

Thanks for the bit of levity! We can always count on Pinkie Pie to break the ice!

I wonder when the first MLP mod for this game will be...

LootHunter: Well? amok dropped and showed dislike for everyone who holds a stance that 3DRealms shouldn't support transgenderism. So why you're not telling him that?

=======================

I bring it up exactly to avoid any ambiguity in what I'm saying. Because I've already had much experience with people like amok, when I ommited some part and was accused of something simply because gap in my words allowed to twist and misinterpret them.
1. Because he didn't say anything I dislike(so far it seems in here) or disagree with.....at least that I noticed(I skim 15% of stuff). The thing is, he had a very reasonable stance(play the game if you want and don't get too upset at a few sprites being removed and some crap done to devs by the publisher) moreso than(from my pov) people crying over a few sprites cut from the game(1 of which isn't even in the main game areas) as if they inserted LGBT+ stuff throughout the game.

As I see it, 3DRealms is one of the FEW classic devs making stuff we like, and to essentially cast them off(as some have done or claimed to) due to virtue signaling forced on them by devs is insanely overboard and akin to cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. I myself would maybe buy the game a bit cheaper or put it off, but I wouldn't boycott them entirely over this unless they got much worse in what they have done.

2. The problem is there's PMs for that sort of thing(unless you've been blocked). That way you guys/gals can fight it out and not disrupt the main thread flow.

3DMaster: Oh, god, not this nonsense again; your reasoning is entirely backward; if not enough people now are not buying the game, you should be advocating even MORE to do it. Your idiocy "Oh, well you can't do anything anyway", is why corporations laugh all the way to the bank while they treat you like sheep that will keep buying. It's how EA and the like have to be shut down by the law, and without shame call thier gambling systems "surprise mechanics" to the law, because they know you sheep will keep buying, and continue to hand them money. If the attitude of gamers were the opposite of sheep going, "can't do anything anyway, most people will just keep buying", and recognized the power they hold by not giving them money, the first time this gambling shit showed up would have hurt them so much in their wallets they would have stopped immediately.

It's your sheep attitude, and the perception of your sheep attitude that has 3D Realms, and the rest, capitulate to that vile ideology with its tiny number of adherants on twitter in the first place. If the reputation of gamers had been that you get hurt in your bank accounts if you pissed them off, none would dare do this.

===========================
So if you want to continue get fucked over, and game companies capitulate to and virtue signal to these gender communists with ever shittier games with less and less humor, with less and less gameplay, keep it up.

If you want to see game companies make good games again, then you'll have to change your attitdue.

==========================
Oh, right, the people who say, "I will not give assholes who screw me over, and who will ruin games to placate some hateful ideologues who don't play any games anyway" are the sheep, but the people who keep handing their money over to companies the screw them over every change they get, they're the folks with spines, uhuh.
What nonsense? Not wanting to follow the masses saying to boycott over two sprites/textures?

I find it funny(in a way) you are telling me not to be a sheep to corporations by being a sheep to those blindly boycotting over two sprites and some misc actions the publishers forced on the devs.

So the way to not be a sheep to big business is to be a sheep to other people? How is that a solution or better option?

Also this is being blown out of proportion.....the actions were pushed on the devs by the publishers and most likely done to get the a**hats off their backs(smart move on them, btw...throw the complainers a bone and move on), not because they don't care about the customer and secretly promote the ideology that pushed them to do it.

As such, I refuse to cut off one of the last good classic devs due to some outrage mobs(which is what SOME of those boycotting are becoming) who are upset at the publisher for bending to other outrage mobs.

=============================
Game companies virtues signaling too much is bad, I agree, but I am a grown man and I do not let others outrage tell me what not to play or consume.

Also not buying a game won't change much(sadly)......many more will buy the game either to mock what's in it(on both sides) or because of curiosity...even some of the current boycotters will likely cave and do so eventually.
=============================
They are both sheep, both sides...full stop.
