Can't wait someone hacks my accounts to delete a game without knowing about it, because after all "It's just a prank bro!"
It's been a longtime regular request, as people were actually going to support just to ask to remove some eyesore they had in their library. Seemed a bit ridiculous to me but apparently for some just hiding isn't enough.

I imagine support will recover the games if it turns out a hijacker did it. Even when asked to remove through support it didn't actually unlink the licenses from your account I think, so if you ever got the same game again you would still end up with the same license (to prevent people wiping their bans etc I think)

Why would you delete games? If I don't like them I just move them in the DNWTP category.
Yay another damned if you do, damned if you don't Steam thread.
That still does not change the fact that it's a stupid and useless feature.

At least it can stiff some users clamoring for this feature, so not too useless

Perhaps, but it was a requested one.
Just one question... If you bind your steam account in a mobile phone for sms authentication, can your account still be hijacked?

Well it's not that uncommone here either seeing people asking how to get rid of their free games. On some occasions the mods have had to remove the games from peoples account, though it has always baffeled me why.
Doh, missed above post >.<

Well, its not like you actually own them in the first place. Pity there isn't a button to permanently delete Valve.

Look here

Everything can be hacked, just sooner or later. The best protection is there is nothing worthwhile for people to hack.
Sounds kinda insane. I know that there can be a lot of crap, with all the bundles and things but still.. Wouldn't it be better to just hide those games.

You miss all the excitement of sales but you already own most games? Don't worry, I know what to do! (and Valve agrees) Delete games from your account so you can buy them again for a low low price of regional pricing and feel the rush once more!

*vault-boy thumbs up*

http://www.gog.com/wishlist/site/ability_to_delete_games_on_your_games_list

As someone puts it in a comment of this wishlist entry:

"I bought many games that I don't want anymore. They bother me, even if I hide them. With physical goods, I could just throw them away."

I couldn't agree more. For the right to throw things away and permanently eliminate them. Yeah.

Just the opposite happens. Lately someone got his account hacked here and got it back with Witcher 3 in it. What a big annoyance to all who don't like to play Witcher 3! If only for this case we need a permanent delete option (maybe with 24 hour grace period).
