Thanks a lot, too bad i'm already in act II, guess i would use it in my second play through
Thank you for this, I just got to the part of the qeust and realized that even though I saved Newboy and told him the amulet probably had no powers that he never gave it to me, so this was a simple way to fix that quest.
edit: nevermind

At the beginning of the game I told newboy to wear the armor.
Now according to the guide I should have met him before entering the well to reach the monastery but I didnt (couldnt find him anywhere),
Now I'm in the prisons mission at the end of the prologue.
My question is: can I still fix the quest with this addon (i have the quest in the journal) or do I have to start a new game?

You meet newboy after escaping prison.

But you don't get the amulet for yourself if you didn't get it from him in the prologue. Alternatively, you can convince to not wear any armor. He will die and you can loot from his body after escaping the prison.

That being said, for the amount of work needed, it is a pretty lousy artifact.
Yeah, if somebody were to mod it to also give +1 regeneration during combat, it would make it more useful.

Is it worth a decent amount of XP at least? Wondering if it's worth bothering with on my second playthrough.

In the beginning, yeah. Not when enemies hit you for 70-100 damage though haha.
Then maybe vigor regeneration percentage, during combat, as vigor pretty much stays the same throughout the game. Say, 20% (as it affects a base value)?

How is that a fix? The quest wasn't broken. If you don't get the talisman during the prologue, it's just because you didn't ask for it. That's choice and consequence here. What this mod does is just provide a cheat.

Could be a semantic thing.

I guess one man's cheat is another man's fix

;-)

Right, I may be overreacting. I guess the latest comments asking for a mod to give more health or vigour regeneration led me to this reaction. I can't understand those.
Because you walk around with -10% armor for most of chapter 1, with no tangible reward whatsoever (+1 regen out of combat).

A slight vigor regen wouldn't be overpowered, and would remain useful throughout the entire game.
