Soooo

can we get sega on gog please?
As if video-game-based movies weren't bad enough already.
Expect something the Mario Bros and the Dragonball movies.

Still a shame, Sega has so many licences, and Sonic isn't by far the most interesting one, yet Sega sticks with it.
Sounds like it will be a bit like the Smurfs movies.

Breja: There's three actually. At least.

snowkatt: ffffffff

since when ?!

i only have two and i only got those because they included the games

edit : bloody hell since 5 years ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BloodRayne:_The_Third_Reich
It is surprising how much he missed to make an entertaining movie out of that one with the assets he had at hand and with finally going into the storyline era of the first BR game.

Don't bother; especially if you don't like the Postal movie, which accidentally (I guess :P ) was very good at capturing the feeling and spirit of Postal 2.

snowkatt: street fighter is an amusing campy action movie and one of raul julia's last movies but it utterly utterly fails as a street fighter movie with jean claude van guile and this ridiculous blanka ..thing http://www.tradingcarddb.com/Images/Cards/Non-Sport/81388/81388-5777997Fr.jpg

thats apparently charlie and blanka rolled in one
I'd take Raul Julia and Jean-Claude Van Damme every day over The Legend of Chun-Li.

snowkatt: street fighter
alone in the dark
both blood raynes
house of the dead
silent hill
and the mortal kombat sequels mortal kombat it self was oddly fine )
You forgot Far Cry and Dungeon Siege, also the Alone in the Dark Sequels. And if you think the JCVD Street Fighter is bad wait till you see The Legend of Chun Li.
Sonic the Hedgehog was a 16 bit video game version of a pinball machine.

There is no way or reason to try and milk drama from that concept without ruining it. The Saturday morning cartoon was bad enough. Let sleeping pinballs lie.

Sabin_Stargem: Live action? No thanks. I think that making a SATAM movie would be the smart move, with Mark Haynes directing.
Agreed, I also wish they wouldn't have cut the Sonic Underground series short.

The thread title almost killed me... are we ever going to wake up ? Is that a conspiracy from beyond the stars to plunge the whole world in madness ?

snowkatt: and i am only interested in the sonic movie to see how well they wil pul it off ( hypothesis : not well at all )
That's some morbid curiosity you have there.

VG movies are just like staring into the abyss, it kind of looks back at you like in an Lovecraft tale.

Though Max Payne was the only thing even close to being passable.

why do you think i have forgotten so many of the damn things ?
i wish i drank at least it would numb the pain of the horror of video game movies

and developers are frustrated movie makers who want to make movie but got stuck with vidiya games
